In the Southern Tradition of the Philippine / Indonesian
Survival Arts, known as Kali - Silat,AKA: Arnis, Eskrima, et al from
the system of Dekiti Tirsia, and Pekiti Tirsia, circa 1972 until the concept
of: SinaTirsiaWali, circa 1990 by Master P. Greg Alland and approved by
Masters and Grand Master Jerson ‘Nene’ Tortal, of the Philippines and as
was certified my position as master of Kali Silat, and in 2002
ratified my progress as Master Instructor, so certified in 1996.
In addition, I have been authorized by Grand Master Antal, and Master Suryadi
Jafri of Indonesia to carry the name Lanka Empat et al.
Kali Silat consists of the following, and upon
completing four (4) levels of training individuals may begin teaching
as Instructor or Instructor Candidate.
The criteria of which is to have students and
as you so agree. This Instructor Program has been included
for the development of Kali Silat Worldwide. This Society approves
all training and is so authorized to bear the signatures of Master
P. Greg Alland, assisted Gurus and is as: so authorized by Grand Master
Jerson ‘Nene‘ Tortal of Bacolod Philippines.
Opening Session Salutation
Courtesy and Respect to the Arts and Sciences of
Human Life: We are a circle, equal as one, with no end and no beginning,
this is the art and science of human life, we call: Kali Silat Sina-Tirsia-Wali.
Derived from the following training program, you are encouraged to train
and practice daily, and by so doing the art is passed to you.
Live spiritually and go with God.
Training:
Introduction: History and culture of Philippine
Fighting Spirit and traditions from 1521 invasion of the Spanish Conquistadors
to present day Kali - Silat, World-wide. One or two articles will be presented
in the early sessions of training. Each three hour Lecture,
Demonstration, Workshop session includes:
1) Salutation at beginning and end of practice.
2) Understanding, the examine the elements
of each action and reaction, individual preferences in each drill.
Determine new practice(s) drill(s).
3) Preparation before the practice, the
practice.
4) Review practice movements, presenting
new interpretations.
5) Additional practice to combine each
section to the footwork body mechanics and form and strikes.
6) Breathing & meditation.
7) Dismissal salutation.

All Sinawali, Empty Hand, Knife Protection Skills and more, don't miss
this, many serious Kali Silat Practices demand continued practice.
